We recommend wearing long pants and require close-toe shoes for comfort and safety. Avoid sandals or high heels. It’s also a good idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen, as many of our rides take place under the open sky. Layers are suggested in case the weather changes.

Riders must be at least 9 years old to participate. All minors under 18 must have a liability waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Yes, we recommend and provide helmets for all riders. Riders under age 18 are required to wear a helmet.

Our standard rides last approximately 45-90 minutes, giving you ample time to explore Catalina Island’s stunning landscapes, including coastal vistas and rolling hills. We also have options for a longer 2-hour private ride.

We’ll do our best to accommodate and ensure you enjoy a safe and memorable ride. However, please know that a basic level of physical fitness is necessary, as you need to be able to mount and dismount a horse independently. If you have any health concerns or physical limitations, please inform us when booking so we can ensure your safety and comfort.

Catalina Island is home to unique wildlife, including the famous Catalina mule deer, Channel Islands fox, and a variety of bird species. Our guides will point out any wildlife sightings along the way and provide insight into the island’s ecosystem.

Yes, we have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your ride, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund and/or avoid any cancellation fees. We require all guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled ride time. Late arrivals are the same as no shows. Please remember that we turn away other adventurous folks to hold your reservation. For no show or late arrival, please understand there is no refund.
